Location of Oldham East & Saddleworth Election Hearing Confirmed1.15.28pm BST (GMT +0100) Thu 29th Jul 2010
The location of the hearing of an Election Petition that challenges the result of the General Election in Oldham East and Saddleworth in May 2010 has been confirmed. The hearing will take place in Uppermill Civic Hall in Saddleworth. The law requires that such hearings take place within the affected constituency. The judges hearing the trial will be Mr Justice Griffith Williams and Mr Justice Teare and the hearing will take place for five days from September 13th.
